StatCan reported Canadian output was lower than last year, but higher than earlier estimates, with: All wheat: 32.0m MT compared with 29.84m MT in September. Down 6.9% on last year. Barley: 8.9m MT compared with 7.8m MT in September. Down 10.9% on last year.

The exported volume (13.4m MT) from Ukraine is much lower than last year (18.3m MT). Wheat: 5.9m MT this year, compared to 6.9m MT last year. Maize: 6.5m MT this year, compared to 9.8m MT last year. Barley: 876k MT this year, compared to 1.48 MT last year.

The following are the production estimates: Wheat: 25.5m MT compared with 25.38m MT in September. Down 37% on last year. Barley: 10.8m MT compared with 10.5m MT in September. Down 24% on last year.
